HGA – Hayashi-Grosschmidt Architecture

The HGA office is led by Hanno Grossschmidt from Estonia and Tomomi Hayashi from Japan. Their collaboration began over two decades ago, and their work has developed a distinct focus on spatial sensitivity and material awareness. They are renowned for their ability to integrate new functions into historic buildings, creating contemporary and vibrant environments. Consider, for example, the Rotermann Quarter – a project by HGA.

“In the residential buildings of the quarter, our vision is to combine Kalamaja’s sense of community and coziness with modern comfort.”

Interior by studio ARGUS

Studio ARGUS creates spaces where Nordic aesthetics meet a human-centered approach to functionality and a sensitive interpretation of contemporary luxury. Their work is guided by contextual awareness and storytelling through architecture.

“When designing the residential buildings in the quarter, our vision was to maintain a consistent design language, ensuring harmony between all elements. The result is a space where the senses can rest. We create environments with the residents in mind.”
